GAGA PIT CAMPAIGN
February 1st - February 24th
The Norton PTA is really excited to roll out a special check writing campaign fundraiser for the purchase of a much-desired GAGA PIT! Why are we asking you to donate again this year and for a Gaga Pit? Our students have been begging for one for several years – ask your kiddos. We feel that as a PTA, we do so many events for our students; however, we don’t give them many permanent gifts that they can enjoy every day. Your donations will make this a reality for our students.
Gaga pits provide hours of fun while promoting physical activity, teamwork, social interaction, and inclusion. It’s important that the Gaga Pit we purchase is durable, safe, and designed to withstand heavy use and outdoor conditions for years to come.
The goal for this campaign is to raise $5000 to purchase and install a Gaga Pit for our students this spring. We would love to have it installed before year end so our 6th graders can also enjoy time in the pit.
When we reach our goal, there will be fun opportunities to reward our students. We do need to mention that if we do not reach our goal, the money raised will be held in the PTA savings bank account to combine with next year’s fundraiser. The Gaga Pit would then be purchased and installed next fall.
We are a culturally diverse school and many parents may not realize why the PTA asks for donations as their culture and experiences may not include PTAs or fundraisers. The PTA often purchases special items that the school does not fund such as the Gaga Pit and other recess/gym equipment. The PTA also sponsors many programs throughout the year such as Veterans Day, and the Fall Festival, as well as supplies, funds for Art, Music, and events like World Cultures Day.

A $1000 donation gets Title Sponsorship with website/socials acknowledgment and an outdoor plaque recognizing your generosity!

A $25 donation enters your student(s) into a drawing to win a Tablet or E-Reader.

Donations may be made through February 24 will be entered into the drawing. The winner(s) will be drawn on February 26.

PAY BY CREDIT CARD: https://nortonpta.membershiptoolkit.com/gagapit or scan the QR code. Please note that there is a 2% convenience fee to pay on the website.

PAY BY CHECK: Print and fill out the payment form. Make checks payable to NORTON PTA. Attach your check to the form. You or your student should then drop-off the donation in the donation box at the office.
