HeartWorks is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). HeartWorks has designed a first-of-its-kind platform that brings together physicians, scientists, and engineers to find and develop treatments for the most severe forms of CHD. HeartWorks gets treatments out of the lab and into clinical trials to be conducted simultaneously in collaboration with a consortium of world-class medical institutions. Their vision is to end CHD with a cure so children and adults no longer have to live with its difficult implications until an eventual transplant.

*We have 143 Allen ISD students with serious heart concerns and several specifically with CHD.
