Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Knightathlon has gone virtual for 2021.
To register, please email Kelly McCawley at email@example.com. A finisher medal is included, unfortunately the deadline for a t-shirt has passed.
Date: Friday, April 23 - Sunday, April 25
Registration Fee: $5.00
The Knightathlon will be virtual this year in order to follow Allen ISD social distancing protocols. The challenge consists of running and biking, and the distance is determined based on grade. A mapped course for the run and bike portions of the challenge are provided, but you can complete the virtual challenge anywhere. The courses we’ve mapped are different than previous years and we’ve also shortened the run portion. To check out the mapped course, CLICK HERE.
During the dates we've chosen, we will be decorating a finisher photo zone at the school. After completing the challenge, we would love for the students to visit our finisher zone to take a photo and send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The participants that submit photos will be entered into our prize drawing to win a free yearbook and join Coach K and Coach Anderson as an assistant PE teacher for a day! Photos will also be shared on KNN.
The challenge has two divisions:
- Kindergarten - 1st Grade: Run 1/2 mile.
- 2nd - 6th Grade: Run 1 mile and Bike 2 miles.
All participants will receive a Knightathlon finisher medal and dry fit t-shirt.
**You must register by April 11 to be guaranteed a t-shirt**
